About Me

Hi, I’m Katherine

I live on the border of Berkshire and Surrey with my husband, our two girls and our slightly chaotic dog, Nellie.

Before I had children, sleep was the thing I worried about most. I love sleep, and I’d heard that babies didn’t do much of it.

My first daughter wasn't a perfect sleeper - we had our fair share of reflux, and regressions that seemed to go on forever - but it was manageable.

My second was a very different story. I really struggled with the endless failed naps, second-guessing and running on zero sleep while trying to parent a toddler. I looked online for advice but found myself in a world that made me feel guilty for wanting her to sleep without constant support and in my sleep-deprived state I felt stuck.

At the time I was training to be a sleep consultant, and as I gained more understanding of baby sleep it gave me some perspective on what was important (sleep, development, protecting your mental and physical health) and what was possible (teaching your baby to sleep in a way that feels kind, connected and responsive). Slowly, I managed to get us both more sleep.

My sleep consultancy

My approach is friendly, empathetic and supportive. I focus on creating a space for you to take the weight off and feel more confident about your child’s sleep. I believe sleep can be improved in a gradual way that allows you to respond to your baby.

You know your child better than anyone and my collaborative style combines your parental expertise with my sleep knowledge to guide the process at every step, focusing on what’s best for your little one and what feels right for you.

Every child is different, so my 1:1 plans will always be unique to them. I know that family life is busy and rarely goes to plan, so I'll never hand you a rigid approach and expect you to follow it perfectly - any plan we create together will be built around your real life, with the flexibility to adjust as you go.

If you're ready for support that feels personal, realistic and genuinely understanding, I'd love to help.
